MB700 Socket 370 ATX Industrial Motherboard IBase Technology, a leading single board computer maker in Taiwan,
has launched the MB700 Industrial Motherboard based on the ATX
form factor. Unlike commercial motherboards, the MB700 industrial
motherboard offers much higher reliability and functionality
on a cost-effective platform. Better and industrial-grade features
that can be found in the board include: FEATURES:
The MB700 is suitable to applications such as networking, firewall
systems, telephony and telecommunications applications in harsh
environments. Integrating the Intel® 440BX AGPset, it supports
six PCI Master (on board LAN x 2, audio x1, PCI slots x2, MicroPCI
x1) and five ISA slots. The MB700 comes with two Intel® 82559 Ethernet controllers with
two RJ-45 Ethernet jacks. Multiple Ethernet provides more dependable
network links by ensuring consistent throughput and backup connections.
A third Ethernet connection is made possible with an Ethernet
daughter card inserted into the MicroPCI expansion slot. The
MicroPCI slot provides ultra upgradability for optional functions
for VGA, SCSI, Ethernet, and IEEE 1394. The CPU socket, Socket 370, accommodates both Intel® Celeron® processor
and Intel® Pentium® III processor CPUs with speeds of
300MHz to 850MHz using front side bus of 66MHz or 100MHz. Three
168-pin DIMM slots support up to 768MB PC100 SDRAM modules. The
on board VGA has two flavors -- C&T 69000 controller with
2M embedded memory or C&T 69030 with 4MB embedded controller
and dual independent view support. Other salient features of MB700 are onboard audio, DiskOnChip interface,
hardware monitoring, two USB ports, IrDA support, digital I/O
