TAIPEI, TAIWAN, September 4, 2006 - IBASE Technology, a leading manufacturer of RoHS-compliant single board computers and industrial motherboards, starts shipping 5.25-inch embedded SBC that is based on the CN700 Digital Media chipset for VIA Eden-V4 processors and supports up to 2GB of DDR2 400/533/667 DIMM memory. With the chipset built-in S3 Graphics UniChrome Pro™ IGP core, the board performs with exceptional 2D/3D graphics performance and MPEG-2 video playback. The embedded board has a VIA VT1631L LVDS transmitter to support 18-bit and 24-bit panels in single or dual channels. It supports dual independent displays via VGA CRT and LVDS LCD displays.

The IB799 features the VIA Eden-V4 processor in 400MHz or 1GHz speed and comes standard with 10/100 Ethernet and optional Gigabit Ethernet. It provides a range of connectivity options including six USB 2.0, two serial ATA, four COM ports and expansion slots for PCI and PCI-104 interface cards. Designed for POS, Kiosk, ATM and other embedded applications, this low power and fanless board also supports Digital I/O and watchdog timer.
