Taipei, Taiwan, August 18, 2008 – IBASE Technology, a leading supplier of embedded boards and systems, today launches the MI800 Mini-ITX motherboard incorporating the Intel® 945GC Express chipset with GMA950 graphics core. MI800 delivers high 3D performance graphics and is an energy-efficient solution for POS, digital signage, kiosk, and multimedia applications. Aside from CRT support, the Intel® 230 1.6GHz Atom™ motherboard also has high performance DVI connection and interface for 24-bit dual channel LVDS displays.

MI800 provides advanced and high-speed connectivity with 5.1 channel audio, two SATA II ports, six USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, and a CF and IDE sockets. Two DDR2 sockets fit up to 2GB of system memory. Besides, there is a 10/100 BaseT and Gigabit Ethernet controllers on board. Measuring 170 x 170mm, MI800 comes with +12V DC-in, one PCI-E(x1), PCI and Mini PCI-E slot with. IBASE is sampling MI800 this month of August.
